When I started this blog two months ago, I claimed it would be a forum for me to share the lessons I’d learned from my experiences as a coach’s wife. So far, I have mostly been true to that cause. But I am interested in stretching beyond that.
To be entirely truthful, I hope this journey will eventually help me to connect with other coach’s spouses because we share a unique role that few people understand. I hope this journey will help other people to understand the role of a coach’s spouse just a bit more.
But it’s not just about sharing with the world.
So far, blogging has helped forced me to process my experiences and make sense of the lessons I’ve learned. It challenges me to connect what I’m learning to my faith. It challenges me to have a purpose for what I write. I suppose a journal would do the same, but I am terrible at keeping journals because I feel no sense of accountability. Here, I feel accountable to my readers, however few they may be.
I know my blog will transform as my family transforms and as my life transforms, but I do hope I can sustain the practice of blogging for years to come because I love the way it has been challenging me.
What an interesting topic for a blog. I love your photos. I hope you get a lot out of Blogging 101! http://lilypupslife.wordpress.com/

I will follow ANY blog that touches on baseball! (Just kidding, not really…) Having had many coaches over the course of my life, I don’t know if I ever really thought about the perspective of the Mrs. Coach. Looking forward to reading more. Thanks!
